I’m Monica, I’m in my 30’s, I’m Portuguese, I’m a photographer. I love to laugh and do my best to make others laugh. I’m the kind of person with no filters, what comes to my mind I say it!
One of my favourite parts about my job is you, the people I get to meet and work with. It is such an honour being asked to capture special moments in people’s lives. Hearing stories, watching kids grow up, witnessing love stories unfold, is such a gift to call this my job.
How did I get there?
I was always creative, the one that captured all the family and friends special moments. I never realized that maybe that was my gift until I got pregnant of my daughter and went for a maternity session, then I realized that’s what I want to do..
My father had a canon camera so I borrowed and started shooting and I haven’t stopped since then.
When my grandmother passed away I was looking for a business name for my photography company , so she turned to be my inspiration. She was my 2nd mother, my godmother and one of the best human beings that I’ve ever met, her name was Evangelina, so I thought Evan sounds like Heaven, and she was a caring sweet person.
